Cooler temps and still plenty to do in the Hill Country

Our first few cold fronts have blown through dropping our temperatures and ushering in the mild fall weather we have all come to love in the Hill Country.  Tubing on the Guadalupe is all but finished for the season, however the live music venues are heating up.  In the months of November and December Gruene Hall is featuring a handful of well-known troubadours including Willie Nelson, Jerry Jeff Walker, Joe Ely, Roger Creager, Bruce Robison, Charlie Robison, Cory Morrow and Bob Schneider.  Also in Gruene the Grapevine Tasting Room is featuring their mulled wine recipes.  River Road is awash with fall colors and is a beautiful drive from the B&B to Gruene and takes approximately 25 minutes.

The cooler temps also make soaking in a hot tub a welcome end to a day of sightseeing and listening to live music.  Last

year we added a hot tub to the balcony of the Metropolitain Room.   Through the month of December our 25% discount applies to all rooms and cottages.  Thanksgiving is already booked, but there is still plenty of availability for next weekend.
