Sorry for the poor picture quality. The picture below shows one of the largest houseboats I have ever seen on Canyon Lake. The boat is typically moored at Canyon Lake Marina on the north side of the lake.
The sailboat on the right was much closer to shore and was a big sailboat so it is difficult to get an idea of exactly how big the houseboat is. Last summer we passed it when we headed into the marina for gas. There was a TV on the main deck that was so big we could watch the movie from our boat.
Yesterday was a beautiful day for boating. The winds died down around lunchtime and there was plenty of sunshine. Not too bad for mid November.
